Engg.) degree from Dr. Annasaheb Shinde College of Agricultural Engineering, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri (M.S.) during May,1987.

Dhinesh Babu obtained B.Sc (Agri.) degree from Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University in 1995, M.Sc.(Horticulture) from Horticulture College & Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in 1998 and Ph.D (Horticulture) from College of Horticulture, Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur, Kerala in 2005.

Dr Ranjan Kumar Singh borne in year 1975 obtained BSc (Agri) degree from Allahabad Agricultural Institute Allahabad, MSc (Horticulture) from Birsa Agricultural University Ranchi and PhD (Horticulture) from Visva-Bharati Shantiniketan. He did his MBA in Marketing. He has 14 years experience of working in extension and teaching system.

Dr. Prakash G. Patil completed his B.Sc. (Agri.) from University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Post-graduation and Ph.D. with specialization in Plant Biotechnology from University of Agricultural Sciences, G.K.V.K, Bengaluru. He has served for nine years as a scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He joined ICAR-NRCP on 1st July, 2017.

Dr. Nilesh Gaikwad completed his B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) from MPKV, Rahuri, Post-graduation and Ph.D. in Agril. Engg. (Agril. Structures and Process Engg.) from IARI, New Delhi. He has served for four years as a Scientist at Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. He joined NRCP on August, 3rd 2013.

Dr. Pinky Raigond completed her B.Sc. in 2004, M.Sc.(Plant Physiology ) in 2006 and Ph.D.(Plant Physiology ) in 2010 . She joined the ICAR on 28 April 2010. Worked at ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla from 2010 to 2021 as a Scientist. On 4 October 2021 joined ICAR-NRCP, Solapur as a Senior Scientist.

Dr. Manjunatha N completed his B.Sc. (Agri.) in 2008, Post-graduation in 2010 and Ph.D. (Pl.Pathology) in 2015 from College of Agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru, Karnataka.He obtained his Post Doctorate from Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia in 2019 through Endeavour Research Fellowship, Government of Australia. Later he served approximately 9 years as a Scientist at ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi. He joined ICAR-NRC on Pomegranate, Solapur on 17.08.2020
Dr. Somnath Suresh Pokhare
Sr. Scientist (Nematology)
Dr. Somnath has completed B.Sc. Agriculture from Dr.BSKK University, Dapoli, Maharashtra in 2008. He has received his M.Sc. degree in Nematology from IARI, New Delhi in 2010. He joined ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack (formerly CRRI) as Nematologist. In 2018, he obtained his Ph.D. n Agriculture (Molecular Phytomedicine) from University of Bonn, Germany. He joined back NRRI in December 2018. He joined ICAR- NRCP, Solapur (MS), on 13th August, 2020.
